Who to contact

Effective communication between the academy and our families strengthens our partnership and provides a consistent, high quality environment for pupils to learn. You will receive communication from the academy throughout the year at Parent Consultation Evenings, reports, and through phone calls from staff but we welcome your communication too – To keep us up to date with information about your child and their learning needs, to share in our successes and to give feedback on how we can improve.

In a time where communication is everywhere and in so many formats, it is important to know who to contact, when and how. We expect all communication to and from the academy to be respectful and professional. A staff list can be downloaded here.

Parking considerations

The safety of all our pupils when entering and exiting the school campus is paramount. So too is maintaining the good relationships with residents in Lime Avenue

With this in mind, we would respectfully remind visitors to our campus of the following guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils and avoid any inconvenience to our neighbours:

• There are visitor spaces directly in front of the main reception building. If these are full, please use the car park or overflow car park at the rear of the campus, by the Six Villages Sports Centre. There is a safe pedestrian walkway around the building to the main reception.

• Please avoid parking in Lime Avenue, especially on the blind bend or in front of driveways or dropped kerbs.

• All visitors should give way to traffic using Lime Avenue when exiting the access road from the school campus.

• For school and private hire events, please use the overflow car park at the back of the campus, or as directed by temporary signage.

• Please could all visitors to our campus be mindful of residents at all times. We would also ask parents to help us reinforce expectations for pupils at the beginning and end of the school day to ensure that their behaviour always models the high standards we expect from pupils at Six Villages.

If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact Miss L White, Finance & Business Director on lwe@ormistonsixvillages.org.uk
