Clay poppy installation with Aspire Sussex adult pottery class

"We will remember them..."

We're delighted that Aspire Sussex pottery students, who use our art facilities for their weekly classes, have created this brilliant installation of clay poppies in our reception area as part of this year's very special Armistice Day commemorations.

Together, we are inviting students, their families and friends, and members of the wider community in the Six Villages to come into the school to view the poppies and leave their own message of remembrance. Cards/photos should be approx 6 x 8 cm and can be brought into Reception to add to the display.

The poppies are also available to buy after Armistice Day for a minimum donation of £10.00 to cover the cost of clay & glaze. All proceeds will go to The Royal British Legion.

If you would like to buy a poppy please hand in your donation with your name and contact number to reception, marked for the attention of Mrs A King.
