Chris Newberry

Appointed 4 September 2015

I am the owner/Director of Pump Engineering in Littlehampton and Chairman of the South West Sussex Table Tennis League.  I hope that my contribution to the Board provides a viewpoint that is not connected with education.  As an employer, I feel that I have skills to offer, it helps me to understand the education system better and I can put a business point of view forward.

Stephen Carter

My wife & I have lived in the local area since 2000 with 2 daughters of which the eldest is enrolled at the Academy. I am the Technical Manager and a director of a large local horticultural business in the Eastergate area. Additionally I represent ornamental growers on various industry research and accreditation bodies. I grew up and was educated in Shrewsbury and then subsequently at Reading University where I gained a BSc Hons and a PhD in Horticulture.
